RICS Home Survey - Level 2 (previously RICS HomeBuyer Survey)
A Homebuyer survey offers a buyer reassurance when purchasing their new home. The process involves a physical inspection which takes into account the interior and exterior of the property.
The report will consist of a traffic light condition rating system, to help you understand what aspects are urgent (red), what will need attention in the future (amber) and what is satisfactory (green). The service includes, but is not limited to;
- Highlights any present or potential defects
- Recommendation of solutions for any defects or potential defects
- Advise if any areas are to be investigated by a specialist
- Advise you of any further documentation/information that will be needed to assist your solicitor with your purchase
- Property valuation (at an additional charge)
